For my laptop, the keyboard keys type random things: I would post them but this website says I will have too many spelling errors so I can only do one:

backspace key-log off user
but other keys like z,x,c,v,b, etc. work fine.
I use an HP laptop: 1 year old, has norton
Please help!

Some keyboards have a numeric feature under the numbers on the right side of the keyboard. There is a "shift" button that got turned on somehow. The colour of the "shift" should be the same as the sub font of the hidden numbers.
