Hi, I had a urinary tract infection which dr give me medicine for. Now I am havinf discomfort and burning. What is causing that?

Most likely what has happened is that you were given an antibiotic to get rid of the UTI. Many antibiotics are notorious for giving women yeast infections.

The best thing you can do is contact the doctor who prescribed the antibiotics and describe your symptoms. Most likely they will call you in a medication to deal with the current issues.

I had a urine sample done after taking the antibiotics. Would a yeast infection show up on that?

It would show up only if that is what they are looking for.
