My husband has stage 4 lung cancer which is now in a few of his ribs and they have found a lesion on the brain, he has had 2 out of 4 sessions of chemo and will have 10 treaments of radiation on the brain, I don't want him to go thro what my sister did.. she had breast cancer and died in less than 2 years, they did treatments right up to 2 days before she went into palitive care and died 2 days later... when do you know that it is time to say to these doctors. ENOUGH

Hard question for us to answer, hunneybee, he is already stage four and apparently spreading fast. If it were in my court, and knowing enough now from taking care of palliative clients in my profession, I would have to say it his own personal choice and let God bless him and yourself to carry on in the next days to come in comfort.
