We are not married but have been together for 7 years, now we are separated and she closed our storage unit and threw all my stuff away and moved 1200 miles away. She is moving to live with her sister. Is there any legal ramifications for her.

First question is are you the LEGAL father (on the birth certificate, signed an acknowledgement of paternity, etc.)

Second, ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area.

You should IMMEDIATELY file for custody where you live before she establishes residence where she moved to. You may be able to compel her to return or return the child.

You can also file suit against her for the loss of your belongings in the storage unit.

I would be consulting an attorney today!
