My trial keeps getting postponed. I need to start my winter job, which is out of state before the trial. I have to set up residency for 4 months, and get a lease. I want to know how often I would have to drive 4 hours to go to my probation requirement, monthly? Or weekly? Or quarterly? Is there a guideline. It's for a DUI and minor accident. No injuries, no damage.

When found guilty for DUI, how often do you have to go to probation? Once a month or more?

It will depend on the judge, the local probation system. Are you on state or private probation. Some courts use private probation companies here in Georgia for many of the lower level probation.

Is this a first, second or more DUI offense ?
Has there been proven a history of drinking problems?

Also at times, you will go more often at first and once you prove to the PO that you can follow the rules, they make it less.

But at least once a month, but it can be as often as once a week.

Is it once a month or more often. I am facing a DUI charge in Maryland?

You will even have to get permission from the court and the PO to live out of state.

It will be at least monthly and first may be weekly. Since there was an accident, it is taken more seriously than if that had not been a accident. Also you may have your drivers license supended for 3 to 6 months so you may not be driving those 4 hours but having someone else drive you. ( that is if they give you permission to work out of state, which they should, but you will have to get it)

Your employer requires you to be residing in that state for 4 months? So it will be March before you can work at your "winter job"?

Look into transferring probation. See this (https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/criminal-law/how-transfer-probation-562513.html) thread.
