I suppose this happens when I meditate. I use the word meditate because I have no other term to describe what I feel. I concentrate past what I see and open my mind and it feels like the top of my head is a lid that opens and the centre of my body i.e.. My spine, nervous system blends with everything else. It's a bit like when you stare into the distance and you lose focus. I start to feel my edges blur, no definition and I am big (as in the universe) and small (as in smaller than anything known) at the same time.

Sounds like you've really achieved something, I love to meditate. I feel free of worries.

What is your question?

Thank you for your response Dani. I suppose I am just asking if anyone else has had the same feeling. Its like the universe is huge but also inside my head at the same time. I really would like to develop my spiritual self and was just throwing this out there to see what came up...

Might I suggest this type of meditation is spiritually dangerous? What you are really doing is fully opening yourself up to any spiritual influence that may be hanging around.

I know exactly what you are describing. Meditation is a very safe and good practice. It is good for you whole being. Physically and Spiritually.
