Managerial and Financial Accounting can be similar and different to users. Can you provide some examples of uses of both and describe the roles they play in the lives of users?

Managerial Accounting deals with internal users. i.e. department heads and managers. This type of accounting people use to determine if the company is hitting their profit margin, or how to be more efficient with resources.
Financial Accounting deals with external users. i.e. banks, potential investors, regulatory agencies. etc... These users use the information from financial statements to determine whether to invest in the company or to make a loan to the company.
