I started lactating yesterday and that made me give in that I'm most likely pregnant. I think lactating starts at about 4-5 months, is that correct? Can someone please tell me what do to do get rid of it, I don't know what to do, although I do know that keeping it is not an option. I don't have an apartment or a job to support it. I live in my parents house until I can find a stable enough job. My mom (even though I'm an adult) thinks that I am a virgin and then she highly disapproves of abortion in any shape or form (she supports the life side of that story) I need to abort it, however I don't know what will work at this point. Are there any free abortion centers? Will medical abortion work at this point, what medicine works best?

Plus I'm really scared because right now my family thinks that I've gained weight and that I'm fat but in another 2 or 3 weeks it might become obvious that I'm not JUST fat. I also drank a lot of alcohol before I knew I was pregnant, I got drunk a lot and I regularly took some health pills that are not supposed to be taken when you're pregnant. I've seen the aftereffects of just one or two drinks while pregnant and I don't plan on seeing what happens to the child when someone is full-out drunk.

If you are indeed pregnant, and 4-5 months along, there is nothing you can do aside from placing the baby up for adoption.

Now, lactation can occur with hormonal imbalances also.

Have you taken a pregnancy test yet? Have you missed your periods?

Agreed, the sign of pregnancy is missing your periods, so you have missed your last 4 or 5 ?

Have you confirmed it with a pregnancy test and or a visit to your doctor.

But if you are in deed 4 or 5 months, the child ( not an it) can no longer be aborted.

So adoption is going to be your only option.

As was said, take a pregnancy test to determine if you are indeed pregnant. If you are pregnant, see your doctor to determine more accurately how far along you may be. A medical or surgical abortion, while not the answer for everyone, can be performed if you are not too far along.

Do consider adoption... obviously you will have to if you are too far along for an abortion. One or two drinks in a pregnancy will not result in severe aftereffects. Even your drinking prior to knowing does not guarantee problems.

Time to step up and take responsibility for your actions. Start by finding out for sure if you are pregnant, then talk to your mother about it. You may be surprised... she will no doubt be disappointed, but she could likely end up being your best ally in the journey.
