I left a work release in another state and the state put out a warrant for my arrest. I am now living in another state where they can't extradite me. I have family back in the state that I left. I have heard that there's a 5 year limit and the state can't do anything if I go back is this true?

No. Statute of limitations run from the time a crime is discovered and ends when someone is charged. If someone isn't charged within 5 years, nobody ever will be. Warrants, on the other hand, last forever.

PS> What state doesn't have extradition with what other state? I thought ALL of them did... I still think they do.
