When I turn on the Bryant 383kav036070 the blower is activated first, then the vent fan second. The igniter doesn't,t glow. When I send it through the component test everything appears to be normal it goes through all of the systems as directed. When I re connect the "R" wire and attempt to start the unit it still does not light. I get a code 31 I've jumped the two sensor sensors and the vacuum and still get a code 31. Have I missed a sensor? And also, If you send the unit through the component test, and all tests check OK, then does that also mean that the board checks OK out as well?

You said blower activated first then the vent fan.. This isn`t right it should be
1.the vent fan
2. the igniter
3. the gas valve opens and burners fire up
4. when temp. is right then the blower comes on

The circuit board when powered by 115 V electric controls the correct order if and when all safety sensors are working right

That's what I thought, that the sequence was out of order. Does that mean that the circuit board is malfunctioning or that the wires are crossed somewhere?

You guys have been very helpful. I think in this case I'll have to check behind the last repairman or lean toward a new control panel since the sequense is out of order. Thanks, zodachamp
