Can I be pregnant if I had unprotected sex last Oct 23 and right now I have my period.

Not if it is an actual period. If it appears to be what you would normally expect, it is unlikely that you are pregnant. It would also be unlikely for you to become pregnant from sex just before your period. It can happen, but it is not the norm.
