A few months now my 2 yr ols says mommy the man is here. He says he goes night night with him, he is in specific rooms and by the pool. Always says he is in or on mommys car. Now for about 2 weeks my daughter who is at my house a lot but lives on her own says she hears banging and it wakes up her 17 month old at night. Her daughter cries from being startled and last night she heard the crib being shaken. That was it she wants to move, and will not let her baby back in that room. She slept with them last night, and isn't sure what to do from there. I suggested we call in a paranormal expert but she is afraid this will make what ever is there mad. I don't know what to do. I ask my 2 yr old to ask the man if we can help him get home but I get nothing. My son tells him "man go home" My son does not seem afraid of the man, but he really fears nothing at this point in his life... except the bedroom door shut. I can not close his door at night.

It would appear that your choices are to call in someone to conduct an exorcism or a paranormal expert.
- Or live with the situation.
I don't see a third choice.

All a paranormal investigator is going to do is try and "prove" that you either have a spirit in the home or you don't. For your children's sake, I suggest you contact a church that has experience dealing with removing spirits. I do mean exorcism, and that doesn't just relate to people... it relates to anytime you need to remove a spirit. Do not think you have to go to the Catholic church... it doesn't matter what denomination it is, just as long as the pastor understands what is really going on there and knows how to deal with it. Just because your son is not afraid of it, does not mean it is not dangerous. I had a very similar experience with my daughter when she was two. Let me or us know if you have any further questions.

Paranormal investigators are very much in the news in my area right now because of Halloween - they are advertising that they will search out and "banish" spirits.
Maybe this isn't true; maybe this is not what happens in other places.
Apparently they perform some sort of ritual. That's what I'm seeing on TV news.

Some investigation groups do have their own member of the clergy and some dabble in methods to try and remove them. However, the norm is that they will refer a "client" to someone else who can help them with removal. I think the best help will come directly from the church... leave out the middle man is what I say. These groups are sprouting up ALL over and very few actually know what they are talking about.
