Hi first of all my LMP, was on January 11, 2011, which would make my due date October 18, well my clinic says my due date is November 2 based on the ultrasound they did at 20 weeks. Anyway I am very concerned cause my baby has not been moving as much since yesterday. I have been in the hospital for about 5 times already this is my third pregnancy and has been very hard on me right now I have pain on my upper stomach in between my ribs. Please help what should I do? I have an appointment toomorrow

Sometimes, since there is less room, you may not notice quite as much movement towards the end, but it shouldn't be a substantial decrease.

Babies are often more active in the evening or at night (since you aren't rocking them as you are walking or moving around). Try having something to eat and/or a cold drink then have a lie down. Many people suggest one of the variations of kick counts. One way is to do the above... eating/drinking and lying down, and then once baby starts to move, keep track for an hour. Ideally you would notice at least 10 movements within that time.

If you feel there is very little movement, even after attempting the kick counts, contact your doctor. They may want you to go in to hospital instead of waiting until your appointment.

When in doubt, you head to the ER.
