I want to rollover my ira plan that's under my former employer's plan but my former employer says that their contibutions made to my ira account won't be contributed until the end of this year, and that I can do one rollover now, and then do a second rollover later this year of their contributions. What advice is available for this situation?

It's up to you - you can do two rollovers, or wait and do just one. Obviously doing 2 rollovers three months apart is a bit more paperwork for you, but other than that it really doesn't matter.

One bit of clarification - I assume your employer's plan is a 401(k) and not an IRA, correct?
