I have the broken/threaded end of a half inch water pipe broken off in a 1/2" elbow. How can I remove it?

I have the broken/threaded end of a half inch water pipe broken off in a 1/2" elbow. How can I remove it?
No problem! Take a small sharp chisel and get under the broken thread, (see image) Pry up and simply peel it out. Good luck, Tom
