I have a business credit card with citibank. My business was LLC, can citicards/citibank put a judgement on my personal chase account? Also, I took my sisters name off that credit card a while back, will she be affected?

If they get a judgment against you, of course they can access your bank account. Your sister had a secondary card? If you took it off, and she destroyed the card and didn't use it from that day on then not likely she will be affected. Citibank are cutthroat people when someone owes them money in arrears. Get all of your ducks in a row. How long have you been in arrears with them?

First if there were charges she made, they may try to include her, so you will have to wait till they file in court for a judgement to see who they are going to come after. If they try to come after you, your defense will be the LLC and they will try to show you perhaps used the card for personal purchases or use, If you did that you may have opened it up for them to make claim against you personal also.

Thank you for the quick response! I've been in debt with citi since 2007, but stop paying a year ago. The judgement was only my name. Does that mean they will not go after my sister? Can they do a levie ONLY one time on my account?

First, it depends on whether you personally signed for the card. If you signed for the card as a principle of the LLC they you may escape personal liability, but I doubt if you did.

If they get a judgment they can continue to attach your accounts until the judgment is paid. It will depend on local laws if they have to refile each time.
