Find the components a_T and a_N of the acceleration vector of a particle moving along a circular path of radius R= 100 cm with constant velocity v0= 5 cm/s.

For a particle moving in a circular motion of constant radius the acceleration has two components. In the radial direction it's a_r = \omega^2 r, which is also equal to v^2/ r. In the tangential direction it's a_t = r \alpha where \alpha = the rotational acceleration, which in this case is 0 (since veloicty is constant).
BTW - I edited the subject of this thread to make it a little more specific.
