I am a 22-year-old, devoted, christian guy. I have just recently developed a major crush (for lack of a better word) on a 16-year-old girl. This crush, although maybe strange, is not of any impure motive. I like this girl because she is so funny and has so much in common with me. She is just great. I just got out of a long-term relationship and am trying to get a few career decisions sorted out right now so I'm not ready for a relationship right at this time. However, as many of you know, it's hard to keep feelings like this a secret. Should I let her know about my feelings or keep them quiet until she gets a little older. I am definitely not a weirdo. I don't usually like way younger girls. Tell me. Is this age difference taboo? Exactly how should I handle this situation?

I know you are a good guy, but I hope for her sake you keep a distance, and let her have fun growing up. I think the crush will pass if you focus on healthier adult things.

She is too young for you, This type of relationship will only lead to trouble at this point, Enjoy life and in 3 or 4 years perhaps you will cross paths with her again.
