Hi jaileenf,

It could be the penis hitting the cervix. If you have a tilted cervix this can happen, try different positions see if it makes a difference.
Do you have a coil? Remove it see if that changes things.
Sometimes before ovulation your ovaries maybe slightly tender, having sex may jostle them, causing a sharp pain.

You say you've had various tests and they were clear.
Have you had... a transabdominal scan... or a transvaginal scan? If not ask to be referred for these to the local hospital.

Do you have any bowel problems?. piles/hemoroids,do you get constipated a lot,is it difficult to have a bowel movement,do you pass any blood when you go to the toilet?

I am just trying to cover every possibility, if you do have bowel problems that hadn't actually occurred to you before, then please go and speak to your doctor, there may be a link there.

I have mentioned a few possibilities, I hope one of them helps you.

Hi jaileenf,

I think the only thing that you must do,is go back to your doctor.
Explain again to him what your problems are, remind him of the tests you have had,and the out come.

Tell him that you are still suffering with this pain, having tried various different methods to relieve it,but with no success.

Remind him of how long this has been going on,and ask him to be referred to a specialist, maybe Gynaecologist.

You cannot possibly continue in this way, so please go back to your doctor until you are satisfied with the answers and the referrals that he has given you.
