It takes work. You close the store for a day or however long it takes, take an inventory of items, and balance the books, all at that moment in time. That is your starting point for keeping track of what is sold, what is left, and how it compares to your books.
You also need a cash register that makes each salesperson enter their code, and it tallies sales and keeps records.
If you don't have one (they are expensive) then you need NUMBERED sales slips, at the very least.
Warning the staff that you know you are losing inventory and money and are making changes should help, hopefully.

But my godown is not attached to my shop. They have to run to the next building. They steal from the godown also. Now if I spend my whole day in shop, how do I keep track of the items in godown? So many varieties of shoes of different colours and sizes. How do I keep a track. Even though I close the shop once in a month to keep a track of the remaining shoes in the godown, how do I come to know that who has stolen what. I have 5 sales person. Even fitting a camera is also not helpful. Please help. I am in a great mental pressure

This should all be computerized. If it isn't, then the task is almost impossible. The second a box is taken from the godown, they should not be allowed out of the building without scanning the box. When a sale is made, the register deducts that make and color and size from inventory. You cannot sell that many shoes (5 salespeople and a warehouse) without computer software! It will cost, but it will pay for itself in 5 years or so. What country are you in? Contact the nearest tech institute.

Sorry you keep making excuses why it will not happen, You have to start somewhere, from hiring a under cover worker, to putting in cameras, to going to a computer inventory, and control over stock.

You need to put BAR codes on every items. While paying make sure you give electronic bill. This will help you to keep track of your inventory. This is what is done in large stores and malls.
