I'm 14 I recently was caught taking my friends moms car out with him in the middle of the night without them knowing... we do not have licenses and we did it three times... I am not a bad kid and my parents have always trusted me. My friend and I agreed that we would not do it anymore but then his parents found out the day after... I do no know what to do. I know that it is not going to be easy regaining the trust of my parents. But I would greatly appreciate any tips you have on how I can do this... ps. We did not get caught by the law the is strictly between me and my parents

Let your parents set the punishment and you accept it without any fuss. Tell them how sorry you are for abusing the trust that they had in you and that you will do anything in your power to get them to trust you again. Be thankful that you did not get caught by the police, be even more thankful that you did not have a wreck and kill or injure someone.

Remember this. Once you tell a lie then you are a liar and nothing you say after that can ever really be trusted to be true.
