Hi. I need to get the ITIN number for a student loan and it requires W-7 form along with any tax return form.
I'm a Master Student on a F-1 visa in US since Jan2010 and never filed any form so far.
I don't have any other income but some interest income received from my bank - Money Market account in 2010 (only usd 38.50 !)
Can I use the form 1040NR-EZ for this purpose? Should I file the form 8843 also? Can I submit them late to IRS?
Thanks for the help! Julia

Bank interest is usually not taxable for non-resident aliens and your interest would be below the requirement to file anyway.
The only form you need to file is form 8843.
You do not need an ITIN for this form.

You can ask for an ITIN if your bank requires one.
Here are the instructions for form W7:

And the form

If you need to show a tax return, you would file a "Zero" return showing no income on form 1040NR-EZ
