What is the best method for ranking of airlines and why?

There is NO best method. It depends on what someone wants to know about -- safety, fewest connections, customer service, comfort, best food, best-looking flight attendants, most experienced flight crew, etc.

Thank you for your attention
This is my fault because I should explain more about my question.
There is some methods ( models ) in management to help a decision maker to solve the problems like AHP, DEA , TOPSIS, DEMATEL , Entropy and so on.
I want to know which which method can be used to give a best result.
Of cource we used to criteria and standard that you mention.

Well, now it seems you have to list the methods you want to compare, define them, then apply various criteria/examples. For instance, how does each method rate food or alcohol or printed reading material, etc. Compare the results to pinpoint the method that consistently rates the most clearly and the highest for all criteria.

Actually I'm student for Msc. And my thesis is about ranking of airlines in Iran.
Two points is more important in this natter.
1- select a right criteria
2- select a right model
I collect more information about that and at this time the standard is clear for me. But unfortunately I don't know which models is more suitable in this matter. Someone use DEA and the other AHP and...
If you know the models and you enable to compare them please help me.

Like I said earlier, you first have to define the methods. For instance:

Rather than prescribing a "correct" decision, the AHP helps decision makers find one that best suits their goal and their understanding of the problem. It provides a comprehensive and rational framework for structuring a decision problem, for representing and quantifying its elements, for relating those elements to overall goals, and for evaluating alternative solutions.

Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is a nonparametric method in operations research and economics for the estimation of production frontiers. It is used to empirically measure productive efficiency of decision making units (or DMUs).

Do either of those two methods sound helpful for ranking your criteria?

It's very kind of you
my instructor told me which I can't use AHP because in this model the variable should be independent. How ever I think it's not important and the AHP is better than the others. What's your idea?

Why would you not select TOPSIS?

What's advantage & disadvantage for TOPSIS?

You tell me. I know. Do you? Is TOPSIS the correct method to use?

Not at all, because TOPSIS make a complex and abstruse.
In fact, not only topsis measure positive alternative but also the negative points is in picture.and this is not necessary.

So which method do you think will work best?

Why?

AHP, because it's very easy.( I was only joking)
I learn more about this model. But for others I have to study more.

Be sure to define each one in simple terms and provide an example for each, so then you can match your problem case to the examples to see which is applicable.
