View Full Version : Weird tingling vibrations (and hunches)

Very frequently when I am lying in bed, and whenever I want to, I feel these weird tingling vibrations. Actually, they are more like a heartbeat than anything else. They usually start in my hands and spread throughout my body, often not reaching my head and torso. I am a healthy 14 year old, and I can stop it by moving, so, even though there is sometimes pain, I doubt that it is a medical condition. Although the tingling body parts feel heavier than normal, I can move easily, so I doubt that it is the start of an OBE (although I have identified a brief falling out of bed "dream" from awhile back as a possible OBE. In addition to the symptoms described above, the tingling parts seem to repel each other and, to some extent, the ground, which might indicate psi or something, but nothing has actually happened WITH THIS, yet at least. (I do seem to possess some psychic abilities: I get these hunches (which cannot be explained through non-paranormal means) that are accurate. (Not all of them are accurate, but there have been enough- about 1 incredibly accurate hunch a day for about 3/4 of a year now- to make me feel like I am living in a science fiction novel. They tend to be things that could be found out with precognitive, telepathic, and/or clairvoyant abilities- often at least two of the three.)

Vibrations and tingling if not caused by a medical condition could be explained by you being in such a relaxed state can cause these sensations to happen especially with people who practice meditation. So it is not unusual. As far as having abilities. People are a lot more open today about them then before. It is more accepted today as a norm for some people.

It sounds to me that you want to increase your abilities or have some control behind them, is this correct?

Is there a question that you want to ask? Do these experiences run in your family?

Sounds like you've created a way to communicate with yourself when you are "being psychic". Everyone is psychic but not everyone recognizes this or wants to increase their abilities. Joe Canada asked a good question: It sounds to me that you want to increase your abilities or have some control behind them, is this correct?

Some people create special ways to communicate with themselves, for example, when their left hand itches it means money is coming in. You obviously resonate with a tingling body to make you aware to pay attention to the thoughts you are having at that time. Don't be afraid of it - exercise it, like a muscle, it needs using to develop into something you can control and understand.

I would like to develop control. It could run in my family, but I don't know and am afraid to ask (my mom (who I live with) does not believe in paranormal phenomena, except where God is concerned). I don't practice meditation, and there are a few things that I forgot to mention:
#1. When the vibrations get really strong, I overheat. I more or less develop a fever- but, before things start for that night, I am absolutely fine. (A site that I found said that this might indicate pyrokinesis).
#2. I forgot about this because it is a very rare occurrence (but it occurred today). Sometimes, I "hear" a song playing in my head (I can usually tell that it's in my head) out of nowhere. It's like I am hearing it sung- sometimes even in harmony. Songs like this always seem familiar from somewhere. Sometimes I recognize them from my life. (Not related to the tingling, just a weird tidbit).
#3. These flashes of what I now think might be claircognizance very rarely occur simultaneously with the vibrations.
#4. (Also not related to the tingling). During a fairly low-stakes rock paper scissors game, I kind of... made up my mind to try and see if I could beat my friend- using this. Instead of getting flashes of information, though, it was like everything happened in a split second (not enough time for those). I just picked an object based on... I guess not really what felt right, or what popped into my mind, but... I guess what WAS in my mind. Instead of beating my friend, though, I TIED with her about five times in a row! I think that I might have been picking up her thoughts or something. It also could indicate precognition: I consistently got a slightly-above-average score on an online test for that.)(Note: do you by any chance know of any fairly accurate tests for telepathy, pyrokinesis, or clairaudience that are discreet and do not require any person to be aware of them?)
I hope that this clarifies things slightly.

So sorry, I forgot to tell you; I can sometimes make electrical appliances (computers etc.) behave without even touching them. The tingling does seem to be involved. True story: Mom's computer broke down. She tried everything, but nothing worked. She would not let me near it. From my bedroom, I concentrated on it working. I did feel the tingling. Although it had not gotten past what she referred to as "the blue screen of death" before, it was temporarily almost restored to normal functioning. Anyway, I am sorry that I had forgotten about all this stuff before.

Sounds like you are already figuring out how to use your gift. There are many books and places that teach psychic development. Research at the library and Google "psychic development" and see what resonates with you. Don't be afraid of it. You are one of the lucky ones - highly gifted. You can easily make this work to your advantage.

Okay, I'll try that.

However, I have to be REALLY discreet. My mom (and probably a lot of other people) would think that I am nuts.

This is 50/50. No, you're not nuts and shouldn't go through life worrying about what others think about you... but on the otherhand you are under your parents roof and they have every right to be aware of what you are studying and looking into. Just something to think about.
