I am trying to a very good friend from my past, about 43 years ago. She lived in Bristol, RI at the time. Somehow I think she is married and living in Florida. Her maiden name was Mary jo Carreiro. I have been thinking of ways to try and find her for sometime now.

Hi SMM,

You could try the:Register Offices in Bristol, they keep the births, marriages and deaths for the city.

There is also one in:Yate near Bristol, used to be one in :Kingswood near Bristol
You could also try: The local Councils they hold:The register of Electorates
Many libraries also hold:Registers

I am assuming that your friend was born in Bristol, in which case they would be registered there, however if they just lived there that may be more difficult:Could they have married in Bristol? In which case the record would be there, even if they had a child in Bristol, that would also be on record.

There may be a chance of finding out when that record came to an end if indeed they did go to Florida.

Another thing you might try,is to put an add a local news paper:The Evening Post or the free weekly paper:The Observer, they both hold this kind of information.

I hope this helps you and you do indeed find your friend.

Dear Sir, Madame,
I am looking for my friend from youth. Her maiden name was Ms. Eva Tehlarova, born and raised in Bratislava, Slovakia back in 1970-s etc. Eva attended Piestany Hotel School and after graduation Eva got married and moved out from country to Italy. I lost track of her and would love to get together with her.
I am 65 years old, living working in Canada.
Could you please suggest me how I will be able to relocate my good friend.

Thank you much.
Cordially,

Peeter Valing
