I have a 2 year old Bryant Plus 80 t unit the blower will not kick in after the burner lights up,
I've checked the fuse on control panel , not blown, a small led light on control panel blinks on and off.
Stat is digital and working, burners have bright blue flame and shut down after a minute or two due to no blower motor.
There is a continious buzz when power is on to unit.
I have shut off power and turned back on serveral times still no blower, What if any thing can I do since no service is available to-day after four o-clock and it's 5 degrees outside and headed much lower tonight.

I've found the status code 12 which says the blower on after power up... Blower runs for the selected blower off-delay time, If unit is powered up during a call for heat R-w/w1 is open or closed during blower on-delay.
Regardless of the code the blower does not run at any time. I am sure of the correct code... One short blink and two long blinks= a 12 code... I also get a 33 code after a short burn, fan still fails to kick in... I've checked all duct work for obstuctions and filter is new. I've set stat to fan only and no fan, my assumption is bad capcitor, motor, or control panel.
Hope someone responds to-day I had to buy space heaters last night.

If you have the stat set to Fan ON and it's not working, then most likely it is a problem is the fan relay or with the motor itself. Putting line voltage directly to the motor would verify this as would checking for voltage across the relay...

I think a motor buzzing rather than starting is a bad capacitor. You can do a rough check with an ohm meter. Disconnect the leads and connect the ohmmeter. Carefully watch the reading. It should start at a high value and slowly climb off scale. If it is off scale to start with, open, it is bad. A new capacitor is a fairly cheap, easy fix. Take the old one to an electrical or heating supply and let them match it.

The blower uses a different motor winding and relay in auto and on. A bad capacitor will keep either from starting.

Thanks for the suggestions, an hvac tech showed up finally... problem was capacitor.. reading 9.35 should have been 10 as it was rated... also even though the squirrel cage turned it did not free wheel so it was replaced too, could barely move motor shaft after removing squirrel cage.

Capacitor was probably good, they have a 10% tollerance. Even so, sounds like motor was bad, and I always replace capacitor when changing motor.
