Hello everyone, I'm an 18 year old from Memphis, TN. I come to you in hopes of getting some ideas. Ever since my stepfather died in a car accident 2 years ago, I have become a little cold hearted, and I had the hardest time wanting to enter a committed relationship. However, I've met a girl that completely changed my mindset. I've only loved one other person, which happened before my stepfather passed, so I know what I'm feeling now. My question to you all is; how can I ask her to be mine in a memorable, romantic way? She has strong feelings for me as well, but I think she deserves the best. If I were to call and ask her to be my girlfriend this moment, I have no doubt she'd say yes, but I feel that she deserves an unforgettable memory of this, and not just a mediocre "cookie cutter" proposal.

Harlinslade,

Welcome to this beautiful site, first!

Being weak in English, or non-native speaker of Queen's lingo, I failed to catch the sense of "just a mediocre 'cookie cutter' proposal"... still, I would like you to communicate much of what you have been thinking about her, yourself, your relationship, her nature, how you find her, your opinion of her, her virtues and tell her, how you want her to look, but not to behave (for yet, at time is not ripe to change her nature, as per your wish, but 'look', yes!), and these things will go deep in her mind, and her opinion of you will be high, and you will become, rather this relationship will become long-lasting, memorable, and really pleasureable.

Is not it?
