So,last December I met a guy.. to make the long *** story short things didn't workout between us and I wished it had. There just something about I just quite can't get over. I can never stop thinking about him .Though I know its what is and what should never be between us. And I came to the conclusion I need to get over him for... Good this time. As always easier said than done. But I feel like I always go in circles asking myself and pondering the fact if he ever actually did like me.. so I'm thinking of talking to him being all balls out the table kind of like a weird closure. Just for me though. And I want to do it but should I? Or I should I not?

He may always be part of your life and part of your thoughts, so that may be something that you should accept. But what you can do is meet new people.
The best closure you can get is internally. Find peace within yourself and not dependent on an interaction with him to get closure. For all we know, talking to him again could open a can of worms.
I strongly suggest that you meet new people.

I strongly appreciate your input; it made a lot of sense. It's just, how does one find peace within oneself?

To find yourself, you must first lose yourself. How you do that is by reaching out to people, not only to interact with them in conversation and activities, but also by doing random acts of kindness for them. These random acts can be obvious, but the best ones (for your sake especially) are secret and private, so that NO ONE knows you've done them.
Do three random acts of kindness every day -- one secret and two that aren't. If you need ideas of what to do, holler!

I see what you mean. I'd like to think that it's in my nature to do that. I time to time try very often to do kind things just from the kindness of who I am -- and that's the truth. It definitely makes me feel good to know I've made someone else happy, or even just helped someone in need or not, you know, but I can't tell if that's different from actually doing what you suggest.
Hmm, what kind of ideas do you have in mind?
