This IS allergies, right? If it sounds like something else, let me know. Anyway my nose has been really stuffy but when I sneeze it's like all the nostril fluid (sorry for that) loosens up and it just runs and runs, then I blow it and it clogs back up and repeats cycle again... Sigh. What can I do to halt this vicious cycle? I didn't realize that allergies were 'active' in October, Northeast... Been going through a box of tissues PER DAY! Thanks.

I do not have any allergies but I have had a sore throat in the AM when I wake up some days. I am in Ohio and I noticed I had the stuffed up nose all summer long when the wildfires were raging out west. Then the huge dust storm in Phoenix affected me a few days later with itchy eyes, sore throat in AM, runny nose, coughing. Upon arising I take one tiny antihistamine pill (over the counter) and drink a hot drink like coffee or tea and I'm fine in about 15 minutes. You may just be "allergic" to all the junk in the air like dirt from the deserts of the Southwest. Take a look at the jet stream to see if something is headed your way. I check the jet stream to see how I'll feel the next day.

Christmas pine smell doesn't really bother me. Blue you should try claritin part D, you hear so much about it and I never tried it until this week. Guess what? Problem solved! It worked for several hours and just 'dried' everything up, so maybe try that OK.

My boyfriend has some pretty awful hayfever and his nose swells, he can't stop sneezing, and his nose runs a lot.

Poor guy.

Sometimes I get like that too when I lose my allergy medicine.
