I am a mother in Indiana who signed over her rights to her daughter to daughters father. Reason being at the time I had no place to live and no job. Now I do have all this and more, I have been getting her every other weekend for nearly two years. Her father agreed that I did not have to pay support. But after he told me I could get custody back anytime after having a job and own place for a year he wants to go to court. What are my possibilities of getting at least joint custody of my daughter back?

I would say pretty good. I doubt if you signed over your rights, rather you gave him custody because you couldn't provide for the children. That is different. You prove to the court that you are now able to care for them. The only kicker would be how much of a disruption changing custody will be.

Yes, I also doubt that you signed over any rights, that seldom happens or is seldom allowed. You may have given them custody. But you will need to file in court, since no custody agreement is valid unless it goes thought he court and is approved by the judge
