Has power, but won't even crank over. Checked fuses but wasn't able to find a starter relay. Any suggestions

If it won't crank:

. Remove and fully charge the battery, which most auto parts stores will do for free. Don't assume the battery is good.

. Clean the battery terminals and cable connections. Also, check the battery ground cable connection to the body and engine.

. Clean starter motor and starter solenoid connections, after disconnecting the negative battery cable.

. Check the solenoid, by putting the transmission in Park and removing the push-on connector from the solenoid “S” terminal. Connect a jumper lead (12 AWG), or preferably a remote starter switch, between the positive battery terminal and the exposed “S” terminal on the solenoid. If the starter motor now operates, the solenoid is fine and the problem is with the ignition switch, neutral start switch, or wiring. If the starter motor still does not operate, replace the solenoid.

If it cranks but won't start:

. Check all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter.

. Check for codes. It's very possible there's a problem with the Camshaft Position Sensor or the Crankshaft Position Sensor.
