1. Check all under-hood and under-dash fuses with a test light or multimeter.

2. When you turn your ignition switch to ON, does the Check Engine Light (or equivalent) come on and then go off after 2 seconds? If not, there may be a problem with the ECM. Can you hear the fuel pump, in the gas tank, run for 2 seconds? If not, then a fuel relay or fuel pump may be bad. It needs to pressurize the fuel rail, before the injectors will fire.

3. Attach a scan tool to the data link connector and check for codes.

4. Perform standard spark test.

5. Review service recently performed for clues.

Remember, 90% of "crank but won't start situations" are electrical-related, not fuel.

Fuel pump is mounted in gas tank
HAYNES repair manual at parts store will tell you exactly where the fuel filter is located
On your yukon {$ 15-17} or follow fuel line up from the tank to the fuel rail, it is located
Somewhere between.
