A black body is surrounded by a low-density cloud of material. If we look at the low-density cloud off to the right or left of the black body we will see a(n) ?

Obviously a homework question. I think you should be able to figure this out from your text. But here's a hint - a black body has a very intense gravity field, and as it accretes additional material from outside the event horizon the material falls inward and becomes very hot. Can you tell us what happens when gas becomes very hot, and especially when it experiences acceleration - as when falling inward toward a black hole? (This effect is what allows us to detect the existence of black holes.) Let us know what you come up with for an answer.
