It always hurts during sex! I've been to 2 doctors multiple times and they can not figure out why it hurts. What am I to do?

Find another Oby/Gyn. Talk to them about it and make sure that they know the issues surrounding this. There are too many possible conditions that could cause this.
How old are you?

I am 28 and have given birth to one child (my issues began after the birth of my son; he will be 3 in March 2012). Sex has hurt for about two years now. I've seen two different doctor's on multiple occasions and they've tested for everything they can. All tests have come back negative, it's been suggested to use lots of lubrication and change positions during sex but that doesn't seem to help either. It hurts the most when I'm on top or he's behind me. Also, I get dry spots on the outside of my labia. Psoriasis runs in my family and the doctor has determined that this is what's causing the dry spots, however, creams do not help! I've tanned before and this has helped clear up the spots. It hurts at entry where the dry spot is and it burns around my clitoris. Sometimes when we've really gotten into sex the pain will go away. But most of the time it just hurts! We still have not determined why it hurts eternally while having sex. I've come to the point where I'm not even interested in sex because I know the outcome and that it will hurt!
Recently, I went in for my yearly check up and my pap smear came back abnormal for the first time in my life. I have an appointment set for further testing. Could this be the cause of my issue? However, my pap smear has always been normal and I've have these sex issues for quite sometime.

Um... question for you. Why did you mark that as not helpful?
Regardless do some research on something called vulvar vestibulitis. A previous girl friend of mine had that. Sounds similar. She needed to go through physio and it never really cleared up.
