What would cause my toilet to NOT refil immediately after flushing? It normally takes 2 minutes afterwards. Enough time to wash your hands, leave the bathroom, sit on the couch, and then would you hear the toilet start to refill. With seven in our house, and only two toilets, I need to correct this soon... thanks, Phil

I think it is because you have a Fluidmaster 400A ballcock fill valve. It is a valve with a black cup on a stiff wire. It is black and grey. It needs a new part in it and they can be bought at Home Depot... if you want more info let me know

As letmetellu suggested, Let us know, float ball on a rod or can on a wire. Regards, Tom
