I am trying to find out the title of a movie that I remember seeing in the 90s at some point. I don't remember the title or actors, however, I remember there being something buried in a sandy field, that people could go to and possibly get trapped. I think it was a space ship of some kind. I just remember a dog being sucked down through the sand and people being sucked down through the sand. I have been asking everyone I know about this movie. Some remember it but not the title and others look at me like I am crazy. I thought it was a stephen king movie, but I have watched everything from him I could get my hands on and it wasn't any of them.

There is a movie from the 80's called Blood Beach but I'm not sure that is the one that you're looking for.
