I have a troy-built 18.5 hp riding lawn mower w/cc that recently started cutting off if you engaged the cutting blade. I listened closely and as soon as the blade engagement safety switch clicked the engine would want to stop. I replaced the safety switch with a new one, this didn't fix the problem. The engine will run on its own. Where do I go next?

There are normally 3 such switches, which one did you replace?

Try testing the one under the seat, fails most often.
