My form of birth control was the depo shot for a little over a year and it caused my period to go away completely. My last shot was due in may and I did not get it. This is now September, I am not on any form of birth control and have not been sexually active in 4 or 5 months. The past few months I have been noticing a dark brown discharge. Sometimes heavy for a few days and more runny others light but with clots. I have no pain or bloating at all. Could the discharge just be from the depo shot and not having a period? How long will it take to go away and what can I do to make it stop
