Did you ask him to extend your probation so you can pay it off in say an additional 6 months or so? You may have waited too long if he is talking about violating you. Usually they will extend your probation to help you pay off your court ordered restitution.

What exactly did you not pay? And how much do you stiil owe?

When I was placed on probation my daughter and I ended up going to a homeless shelter Because I lost my job and I did get some money I got us back home I have been looking for a job but haven't had any success I have had family members paying my bills. I never knew that you could ask for an extension that was never offered to me

Sorry, while it may be allowed in a few places, doing community service instead of paying the victim back is normally not allowed, they want you to pay back for the damages you caused. At times part or all of a fine, or court costs may be included as community service instead,

Your attorney would have made a motion for that, during the court hearings

You owe for court costs not restitution. You can't get community service to pay off the court costs, sorry, as community service is usually added into your sentence and not an add on later on. Go back to your PO and ask for an extension of time to pay off the court costs. That is your only option at this point that I can see you have. Extentsions of probation are never offered they must be asked for.

You can file for administrative review and explain to the Judge why your probation should be deemed satisfied, with exception of fins - if not already, offer a civil judgement
