Hi. My name is pete I'm trying to decide if I can change out the preasure valve on my house. There's two big nuts. One on top and one on the bottom. Can I just loosen these and then screw the new one on .or is there cutting involved and . Thanks

Hey Pete, Welcome to The Plumbing Page of AMHD. First we have to make sure we're on the same page. Just what kind of a pressure valve are we talking about> A PRV(pressure reducing valve coming into your house? A water heater pressure valve? Something on your pump? More details please. Back to you, Tom
