My sister is in foster care and her mother and our father are wicked into drugs and they obviously got her taken away for a reason. I am in college for pre-med but I am willing to drop out so I can get a job and an apartment. I have my lna (aka nursing assistant) license... I don't wnt her to grow up with druggy parents and I wnt her to be happy... What should I do?

Your local social services or family services department would be a good place to start for information, but I have to tell you that your chances of being granted an adoption are very small if you are a full time student with no income. An agency will look at what you can provide right now for support, not what you are willing to do. An easier route may be asking for temporary guardianship, but even then, you need to make sure you are able to support and provide for another person before you begin. Again, your local social or family services will be able to tell you what you will need to begin, and at least give you an idea of the position you need to be in to be considered a suitable guardian.
