Hello, it's been almost a week or two since me and my boyfriend decided to try and get intimate. We were careful, using condoms and checking for anything we might have done wrong.

However, I've been feeling odd. Sharp pains in my lower belly, backaches (is this a sign? I think I read somewhere but I'm not sure), and waking up to an upset stomach. Today, I was getting cramps and how I usually do when o get my period, and I found some blood. I automatically thought it could be my period, but it abruptly stopped at just a random little patch of blood. I still feel cramps though.

What could this be? Just my period, getting here in a weird way? Or something else?

Just in case, I'm 16, usually have an irregular period, and this has caused the both of us so much anxiety and paranoia we don't plan on doing anything until we're ready.

I suggest you go get checked. I had an ectopic pregnancy at the age of 23. Very painful, a little bleeding. Go get checked to be sure! Good luck!

Condoms have a fairly high failure rate, so if that is the only form of protection you used, there is a chance, but even with condoms and the pill people sometimes still get pregnant.

So could you ? Yes of course, is this a sign, yes it is, but it is also a sign for several other things also.
