You CAN help it, honey. You've recognised the problem, that's the first step. The second is to tell yourself that grades are more important to you. The men are going to be there forever (Believe me, they get more irritating), but it's best to get education done as quickly and as best as possible. You just need to get out of the 'I can't' phase.

I have almost the same problem as well but I have learned to balance my stuides, boys and appearance. Sure you want to look good, but don't spend TOO much time on it. Do your makeup, have a shower, perfume, dress, brush and floss teeth, all that in the morning so you are prepared for the day. Then talk to boys and things during class but not when the teacher is instructing, tell them to be quiet and that you don't want to have homework. You might want to seem cool for them and they might roll their eyes afterwords but they will respect you for it. Do work during class but fine, you do not have to devote all your time to it. Lunch and after school are ideal times to socialize. Or don't do after school and go home finish your homework before anything else. Don't promise yourself or make excuses just get it over with and then spend the rest of the night PARTLY WITH YOUR FAMILY and the rest can be spent with outside of school acitivies, Facebook or other online messaging services you can use to talk to people from school even more, or get to know yourself better by spending time on your own.
Personally that's what I do. I'm not the best with boys but I feel confident with my appearance (except bad hair days ;) my family relationships and my grades as they are this very moment. I also have very good relationships with my friends and know the people in my grade well and do mingle quite a bit. I don't want to tell you how to run your life but there is some advice.
