I've been with my boyfriend on and off for 2 years. Lately he's been breaking up with me like every 3 months but I always call him and he always ends up crying and coming back to me because I honestly think he loves me. I am his first real girlfriend ever. A month ago today we had sex n then the next day he told me it was a mistake and I should move on. I haven't called since it was my birthday the other day n he texted me I just said thank you. I wonder if he's shocked I haven't called? I'm best friends with his sister too and my car is always there but I haven't been there on purpose in like 3 weeks because I do not want him knowing where I am and maybe think I'm really moving on. I know he thinks he can just put me on the shelf and come and go as he pleases because he knows how much I love him. Is not calling the right thing to do?

I think that you are reading too much into his behavior. He said that you should move on. Do it. You are only pretending to as a way to get him back, and playing games never is beneficial for anyone. You said in your post that he is coming and going as he pleases because you let him. Stop letting him. It will be painful and difficult, but you have to stop contacting him and allowing him to use you. Have fun with friends, find an activity, but do something to keep yourself busy and distracted while you heal. He will keep treating you the way that you let him.

Don't play those games, and stop letting him dump you by doing your own thing without him. This doesn't sound like love, or fun.

I mean don't you think being dumped 3 times is a fair enough warning for you to protect yourself??

You've been on & off & on & off. All at his doing.

Now you're officially off. Right?

Stop the madness. Don't be his booty call.

You deserve better. Self-respect, yo.

When someone no longer wants you. Split.

"come and go as he pleases"

Good. Let him. You do the same.

He's done that all along.
