What does white smoke mean? It's coming from the front of the car.

You need to see where it is from.
Sometimes white smoke from exhaust may mean a leaking modulator for your transmission, it is connected to your intakes vacuum, if it fails it can draw transmission fluid into intake creating white smoke?
Do you have water in your oil, Oil in your Water?
Low compression can on 2 adjacent cylinders can mean blown head gasket between the 2 cylinders.
Need t know Oil in water or water in oil?
Compression on all cylinders good?

White smoke?
Or could it be steam?
Look for leaks in the radiator or hoses. Any loss of coolant from the reservoir or radiator?
Another potential "white smoke" would be a leaking a/c condenser. Does the a/c still cool the vehicle? Did it/does it work at all?
This will need a hands-on diagnosis by a qualified technician or mechanic with the vehicle at the shop.

I don't have much experience with head gasket repair. My husband usually fixes my car if it ever has any issues. He said the head gasket shouldn't be anything difficult to replace, but it really depends on the type of vehicle you drive.
