The fact is the brother in_law and sisster in-law own the residance and rent to you and your wife that currently wants a divorce. A family matter.They can not remove you from the lease or rental agreement due to your wife, or family matter. However,they can get athorities invovled to remove you. So please make sure that you at least have what you want packed and ready to go if and when that time ever comes.Seeing as your wife wants a divorce,and the owners are related to her. Most likely your wife will get what she wants out of this. Take precaution though. They also could be very sneaky about it.

If there is a lease that you are signed on, they have to honor the lease. However, if your wife files for divorce she can force you to move out. The timing would depend on the divorce court.

If you don't have a lease you are still considered a tenant and they will have to give you 30 days notice to vacate.
