View Full Version : Math brain teasers 4 numbers add up to 24?

Using 11,17,16,13 please add subtract multiply or divide these 4 numbers to add up to 24. You can't use the number more than once and you must use all numbers. Example(4+5)/(18*3)=? But only using the numbers I have list above please.

This sounds like homework! I'll trust its just a 'teaser', like you said (hmmm)
try this:
17-16 x 11+13 (so, 1 multiplied by 24 = 24)... I remember doing these in 7th grade every day at the start of math... you sure this isn't homework??

23=24 only appears in my solution
=11*17/(16+13)=24
or
=(11-17)+(16+13)
