Help! My little girls hair just won't grow! She is 5 yrs old and at school but her resembles that of a toddler. Its fine and whispy and is different lengths. She has only had two or three haircuts in the hope it will prompt growth but nothing helps. Even though she looks adorable and I love her hair, my child has become quite self conscience of it and always asking when it will grow. I'd like to know if there is anything I can try to boost some growth. She eats healthy meals and loves vegetables, we shampoo and condition every second day.

Have you had her to a dermatologist yet? If not you should, they can determine what is worng most likely and if there is anything you can do about it.

Yes, at this point a trip to the doctor would be the best bet.

It could have course be a sign of other problems

What a little sweetheart.

Take her to a doctor, and don't worry. I was a late bloomer and only properly grew hair at her age myself. Before that it was wispy ringlets. Now, my hair is down to my bum. Haha.
