2 questions: 1, we seem to have good water pressure on the hot side but the cold side is not good at all. It's worst in some places more than others. Like my shower, I have to turn the water up high enough so that it has enough pressure to run but when I do that the water is so hot that I can't handle it. How do I fix that. 2. In our guest house the kitchen sink water on trickles out on both hot and cold. I tried the knobs under the sink and they are both on all the way. The rest of this house seems to work fine. Side note... Both houses are connected to one well. Above ground. Just drained it and refilled it. The psi was at 20 now its at 55 with really no change at all. Please help!

1. How old is your house and what type of water pipes do you have? Copper. -plastic or galvanized? Is the pressure loss through out the house or just one or two faucets? How long has this been going on. I had the same problem at my house until I replaced my old galvanized pipes with PVC. More details please.
2.Did you remove the aerator from the spout and tried the pressure then? If you have pressure with the aerator removed then either clean the screens or replace the aerator.
Answer me about #1 and we'll go from there. Cheers, Tom

With good pressure on the hot side but bad on the cold would indicate a clogged valve on the cold feed only. Start by removing a cold valve, flush the line and clean the valve.

1.the house is around 15 years old. Not sure about the pipe. How do I find out? Pressure is just to these 2 faucets. We just bought the house and it was like that on move in. is it possible that these 2 faucets are just bad?

2. I didn't try and remove the aerator yet because the pressure is just so low (I mean like very low!)i know that that wouldn't help.
