I want to control the light and fan separately from 2 locations in the same room. Do I need 4 3 way switches ? Or 2 3 way and 2 4 way. Feed coming to light/fan

If you want to control both the fan and the light independently from two locations you will need a 3-wire cable from the ceiling to the first location, two 3-wire cables between the two locations and four 3-way switches.
